When using kate, I have always used vi commands whether they were supported or not. This has kept me running back to vim for most of my editing needs. Every time I open kate I end up polluting my code with seemingly random letters as my fingers are just too used to these vim commands :) This makes life soooooo much nicer. Thanks a lot!
